Lawful and proportionate use

Use the service only for lawful research, due diligence and internal commercial intelligence. You must respect privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property, consumer protection, marketing and sector specific rules that apply to your activity.

Prohibited technical activity

Do not evade access controls, share protected access links, probe security, introduce harmful code, overload the service, scrape at scale, systematically extract records, reverse engineer protected functions or use automated means that interfere with normal operation. Do not attempt to identify or obtain another customer’s information.

Prohibited data use

Do not resell or republish subscriber exports, build or improve a competing database, misrepresent information as official, create misleading profiles, harass individuals, discriminate unlawfully or make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. You must not use information for fraud, impersonation, intimidation or any unlawful purpose.

Contact and marketing

A company’s appearance in the service does not give permission to contact it. Any outreach must have an appropriate lawful basis and comply with applicable privacy and electronic communications rules, suppression requests and TPS or CTPS screening. You must identify yourself honestly and honour objections promptly.

Enforcement

We may apply proportionate rate limits, restrict exports, investigate suspected misuse and suspend access where reasonably necessary. Serious or repeated misuse may result in termination. We may preserve relevant logs and cooperate with lawful requests from competent authorities.
