Terms and Conditions
The terms governing access to and use of Company Insolvency Register UK.
Last updated: 9 August 2026
1. About the service
Company Insolvency Register UK is an independent commercial information service operated by LOXA CAPITAL LTD. It collects, organises and presents UK corporate insolvency, company and business intelligence from public and other lawful sources. It is not an official register, public authority, insolvency practitioner, credit reference agency or professional adviser.
2. Nature and sources of information
The service is a monitoring and research tool. Records may include public notices, company information and lawful enrichment from websites, directories, maps, review platforms and social profiles. Source material may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, duplicated or later corrected. The presence or absence of a record is not conclusive evidence of legal status.
3. Enrichment and matching
Enrichment is provided where available only. Website, trading-name, contact, social, industry and estimated metrics may be inferred or matched using evidence such as company number, name, address and corroborating sources. A match or confidence label is not a guarantee. Users must verify important information independently.
4. Insolvency and company status
Labels describe information observed at a point in time. A public register status and an insolvency event are different concepts and may update at different times. Inclusion does not establish current trading, creditworthiness, asset ownership or the availability of a business or domain for sale.
5. Alerts and downloads
Email alerts and exports are convenience features. Delivery, timing, completeness and uninterrupted availability are not guaranteed. Users should not rely on an alert as their sole monitoring method and remain responsible for retaining lawful copies and checking primary sources.
6. Permitted use
You may use the service for lawful internal commercial intelligence and due diligence. You must not resell, republish, systematically extract, reverse engineer, overload, evade access controls, build a competing database, or use data for unlawful harassment, discrimination, spam or automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects.
7. Outreach responsibility
You are solely responsible for any contact you initiate, including compliance with UK GDPR, privacy and electronic communications rules, suppression lists, TPS and CTPS screening, professional rules and recipient objections. The service does not authorise contact, confirm consent or establish that a lawful basis exists.
8. Availability, suspension and intellectual property
We may maintain, change, suspend or withdraw features and may restrict access for security, abuse, non-payment or breach. Our software, selection, arrangement, original content and database investment remain protected. Third-party source rights remain with their owners.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Consumer rights that cannot lawfully be limited remain unaffected. Subject to those protections, the service is supplied on an available basis and no promise is made that every record, alert, match or export will be complete, current or suitable for a particular decision.
We are not responsible for loss caused by a user acting without reasonable independent verification, by third party material outside our control, or by events that could not reasonably have been prevented. We do not exclude responsibility for loss caused by our failure to provide the service with reasonable care and skill where that duty applies. For business users only, and where lawful, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the fees paid by that user during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Changes, termination and law
We may update these terms prospectively and will give reasonable notice of material subscription changes. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where lawful. English law governs these terms and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer rights.
